Last week, the very lovely Amanda Darmody who owns Perfect Glow Cork, offered to come and give me a Cocoa Brown spray tan.
For any of you that know me, you will know that I am a tan lover and in particular, spray tans for special occasions. I think if you have a special event like a wedding, big night out or maybe ladies day at the races, it is worth having a spray tan done.
The beauty of Perfect Glow Cork, is that Amanda operates a mobile spray tanning service. I find mobile units so convenient, particularly for tanning as it really takes the hassle out of travelling to a salon if you are stuck for time. It is especially handy for any of the Mum’s out there as it cuts out the cost of organising a child minder for the little ones – especially when you are trying to save your babysitting credits for the actual night out!
Amanda uses the Cocoa Brown spray tan in her tanning machine. If you have already read my blog, you’ll have seen me talk about Cocoa Brown and my love for the product range – especially the fact that they are an Irish beauty product.
Amanda arrived at my house at 8pm – and I was fully sprayed and back in my PJ’s & on the sofa by 8.25pm – that is how fast the service is. This particular tan develops much faster than any other spray tan that I have tried due to the level of DHA’s in the tan. If you want a light tan, you leave it develop for 1 hour, a medium tan is 2 hours and a dark tan is 3 hours and beyond.
Personally I always go for a dark tan and even though I could have showered after 3 hours, I still opted to leave it on overnight.
When I showered the following morning, I was delighted with the gorgeous dark even colour. The tan itself faded quite well and Amanda gave me plenty of maintenance tips that definitely worked. I have heard that Amanda is now doing the Cocoa Brown Dark Spray tan which is one that I would definitely be interested in trying.
