Since I was a very small child, I have been going horse racing with my family and ladies day at the race meetings is a day to always look forward to.
I absolutely love having the excuse to get dressed up and in particular, wear a hat. At times I do think that I was born in the wrong era as if I could, I’d wear a hat everyday.
Whenever I am looking to to put together my outfit, I firstly decide on what I am going to wear and then always take the outfit to the milliner to have a bespoke piece designed. Without doubt, my favourite milliner is Elizabeth Christina Designs in Kinsale. Her pieces are very unique and made with such expertise and quality. She has incredible attention to detail with her pieces and the same attention is given to the back of the hat as the front of the hat – the sign of an absolute professional.
This Easter Sunday, we headed for “Most Stylish Sunday” in Mallow. Mallow is always such a really lovely race meeting and as ladies days go – it is the most casual in the country and therefore, incredibly relaxed.
I started the day by having my hair done by Aishling Kelleher. Aishling, met me at the Cork International as she was also styling the judge today so we had a lovely fun start to the morning.
My outfit today was from Ted Baker and I bought it in Kildare Village.
For me, the crowning glory of the outfit was very obviously the hat made by Tina. The full outfit was such a comfortable outfit to wear and I really enjoyed wearing it.
And it was a great Easter Sunday spent with my very glamorous Mum!
Now, time to enjoy some Easter treats! Happy Easter to you all xxx.
